Bring Bobby

Terms of service

Last updated: 4 October 2026 (draft)

Welcome to Bring Bobby (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms apply when you use our website at bringbobby.co.uk (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. Who we are

Bring Bobby is run by Joshua James, trading as Bring Bobby. You can contact us at hello@bringbobby.co.uk.

2. What the Site is

Bring Bobby is a directory of places that welcome dogs, such as pubs, restaurants, cafés, holidays and things to do. Each place has a rating of one to three bones and may carry a “Bobby verified” stamp.

  • Ratings are our opinion. They are based on the information available to us at the time and, where we say so, on our own visits.
  • “Bobby verified” means we visited the place on or around the date shown. It is not a guarantee that things are the same today.
  • Information changes. Venues change their rules, owners and opening hours. Please check with the venue before you travel, especially if your dog has particular needs.

3. Looking after your dog

You are responsible for your dog at all times, including its behaviour, safety, health and welfare, and for following each venue’s rules and the law. Being listed on the Site doesn’t mean a place is suitable for every dog or every situation.

4. Using the Site

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for anything unlawful, or to harm or mislead others;
  • copy, scrape or republish a substantial part of the Site or its data without our written permission;
  • interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or attempt to access it without authorisation;
  • submit false, misleading or abusive content, or content designed to promote a business unfairly.

5. Submitting places and photos

You can suggest places and upload photos through the Site. We review every suggestion before it appears, and we may edit, decline or remove anything at any time without giving a reason. We don’t promise to publish a submission.

When you submit something you confirm that:

  • it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is your honest opinion or experience;
  • you took any photos you upload (or otherwise have the right to share them), and they don’t show other people in a way that would be unfair to them;
  • it doesn’t break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or contain anything defamatory, abusive or unlawful.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, store, adapt, display and publish it on the Site and in connection with promoting the Site (for example on our social media), crediting you by name if you asked us to. This licence continues for as long as we hold the content, and is limited by your right to ask us to remove it (see section 9).

6. Our content and intellectual property

The Site’s design, logo, ratings, text and compilation of data belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not otherwise reproduce it without our permission. Venue names and logos belong to their owners.

7. Links to other sites

The Site links to venue websites and other third parties. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, policies or services.

8. Our responsibility to you

The Site is provided free, “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we can’t promise it will be error-free, up to date or always available.

We are not responsible for losses that result from relying on the Site, for example a venue that no longer accepts dogs, or for anything that happens at a venue or to your dog. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited or excluded.

9. Problems, corrections and takedowns

If you spot something wrong, or you own or run a venue and want a listing corrected or removed, or you believe content on the Site infringes your rights or is unlawful, please email hello@bringbobby.co.uk with the page address and details. We will look into it promptly. If you submitted a photo or text and want it removed, tell us and we will remove it from the Site (copies already held by search engines or other websites may take time to disappear and are outside our control).

10. Privacy

How we use personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.

11. Changes and ending your access

We may change the Site or these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated, and continuing to use the Site means you accept the current version. We may suspend or block access to anyone who breaks these terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
